FRIDAY
Of course our first order of business is always food and we quickly decided on seafood. We threw on our shoes and headed out the door to one of my favorites Jimmy's Seafood & Oyster Bar .
We started our meal with a savory plate of fried calamari
I paired mine with a peach mango cosmo to really start my Friday night off with a bang (so delicious!)
We quickly devoured our appetizer and moved right into main courses..
JV had the beautiful crab stuffed shrimp with a loaded baked potato
And I proceeded on with my fat, fried friends from the sea - popcorn shrimp & fried oysters (life isn't fun without being bad every week once in a while).
After gorging ourselves on all the little sea creatures our hearts desired, we thanked the staff and headed out to meet some friends for drinks downtown.
(The beautiful face of Mr. Dustie Waring -from the band Between The Buried And Me- & his beautiful girlfriend Katie)
We posted up in the window seats at Burke Street Pizza and watched all the people walk by until we decided to join in the fun.
SATURDAY
After going to bed and 4 a.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. to go to my weekly exercise class at the Airbound Trampoline Park (only for it to be canceled- bummer!) I was ready to have a nice quiet Saturday with my sweet handsome boyfriend. I took quite a long nap and laid around being lazy until we were ready for dinner. We decided on Mexican, hopped in the car and rushed off to stuff ourselves with chips, salsa, quesadillas, tacos and fried ice cream.
It was a perfect Mexican Fiesta for ten two. :)
SUNDAY
Sunday is my favorite day of the week (besides the fact that Monday is to come next). They are easy and relaxing with just enough class and spiritualism. JV John Virgil (I like to try and use his real name, its too pretty not to) is an avid paintball player (whom use to be Pro, until it just got a little too consuming for him) so many of our Sundays are spent at the paintball field in Greensboro, NC. I grew up around the sport being around my older brother and his friends, so it is actually a past-time that I really enjoy (not to mention getting to see my hottie-hot-hot boyfriend run around and dominate people! mwahaha).
(I always steal the guy's stuff)
After an extremely hot afternoon we made our way back to Winston-Salem to join some friends for dinner. I went with the hippie look after purchasing this awesome new teal headband. We stuffed ourselves full to the max and went home to enjoy the rest of our evening in front of the tube to watch one of our favorites - The Hunger Games.
Success of a weekend ! xoxo
You are beyond adorable! xx
